After collection from the local pick up points you will travel by coach towards Tarifa or Algeciras where you will embark on a Fast Ferry crossing the Strait of Gibraltar to Tangier, the ferry journey normally takes about 60 minutes. On the journey to the ferry your guide will explain the itinerary for the day and point out various landmarks and towns on the way. They will also help you complete the last formalities necessary to cross the border into Morocco.
Upon arriving in Tangier you will be met by a local guide who will join you on a panoramic coach tour where you will see amongst other things the Residence of the Governor, the summer residence of the King and camels. You will commence the guided tour on foot through the historical centre of Tangier; you will visit the Kasbah, the Medina and the Souk etc. After the walking your you will go to a typical Moroccan Restaurant. Where you can try the exotic food included in the trip (drinks are not included) Depending on time constraints you can also visit a typical bazaar to view typical handicrafts, leather goods etc and see how Moroccan carpets are made. You will then visit a Barbary pharmacy where you can see the spices used in Moroccan cuisine and the natural cosmetic products.
At the end of the tour, you return to the ferry port to begin your journey back to the Costa del Sol.

Just to let you know the Winterburn family had a fantastic excursion to Morocco yesterday. The organisation was excellent and so much was packed into the day. Our 3 youngsters were never bored at any time.
The two tour guides in Morocco deserve special praise. They were attentive looking after us at all times, making sure no-one got lost, and such a big group also. They gave detailed explanations of all that we experienced. We felt safe with both and they helped to make our day such a special experience.
