
The Caminito del Rey is located between Ardales and Alora. It is not for the feint hearted as the tour runs along a path of more than three kilometres along the side of the mountain passing along a canyon at a height of around 105 meters above the river below, the tour uses various footbridges, passages, and pathways along the way.
You will be met by your guide at the agreed meeting point and time .
You will then set off on your journey to Caminito del Rey. During the trip, the guide will explain the day’s itinerary and describe the landscapes and villages you pass along the way.
First, we will stop at the picturesque village of Ardales, situated in the Sierra de las Nieves, a typical village of the inland area of Málaga, featuring a chapel nestled between vertical rock faces and Mozarabic ruins. Here you will have the opportunity to shop and have breakfast.
Later, we will head towards the entrance to the Caminito del Rey; after the admission process, a qualified guide will accompany you along a trail of over three kilometres, running along the mountainside.
We will see a canyon 105 metres above the river, where the natural landscape blends with the surrounding flora and fauna. The walkways wind through the mountains, featuring sections of wood, glass and suspension bridges. This path is unique and exceptional in the world.
