Cordoba

You will be collected at the designated collection point where you will start your journey to CÓRDOBA. During the tour the guide will explain the day’s programme of the day and will talk about the landscapes and villages that you will find along the way.

On arrival in Cordoba the coach will drop you off near the Roman Bridge, from then on you will have 5 hours in Cordoba.

If you are taking the trip with free time only from then you will have 5 hours of free time to explore Cordoba.

If you are on the guided tour, you will begin the guided tour, which will last around 1½ hours, after which you will have at least 2 hours and 30 minutes of free time.

Our guide will accompany you during a walk from the Torre de la Calahorra, crossing the Roman Bridge, the Guadalquivir river and the majestic Puerta del Puente, until you reach the meeting point with the local guide. Here you will start the guided tour of the historic centre of Cordoba, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, with its narrow streets, squares, Cordovan patios and other interesting place such as the famous Calle de las Flores.

You will also visit the Jewish Quarter, enter the Synagogue and have a full tour of the stupendous Mosque-Cathedral, symbol of Cordoba (entrance fees included). The inside of which was once the second largest mosque in the world and today houses the Cathedral of Cordoba.  The Cathedral of Cordoba will take your breath away with its forest of columns and coloured arches and the unique atmosphere that emanates from centuries of history and different cultures.

Later you will enjoy some free time in the city centre to continue the visit on your own where you can stroll around, discover the local handicrafts (in which the famous Filigrana Cordobesa stands out), you can do some shopping or stop for a spot of lunch.

At the time and place indicated by our guide, return to the Costa del Sol.
