


With collection points at the major bus stops along the A7 you are collected by coach where you will travel to Gibraltar. Gibraltar is an overseas British Territory which lies at the foot of the huge Limestone Rock of Gibraltar. From mythology Gibraltar is one of the two columns of Hercules, on a clear day you have views across the Straits of Gibraltar to the Northern Coast of Africa. During your journey your guide will inform you concerning the day and give you information on Gibraltar and the landscapes and towns you pass on your journey.
Once you cross the border, the bus will go to the coach parking and from this moment on
you will spend approximately 5 hours in Gibraltar between free time and the different options you may have chosen.
Shopping option – you have approximately 5 hours of free time to do your shopping, have lunch and explore at your leisure.
Dolphin option – The Straits of Gibraltar is a breeding ground and permanent residence for many species of marine mammals (dolphins, whales etc) The tour takes 1 hour and 30 minutes where you are taken by small boat on a watching tour to the places with the highest probability (up to 90%) to watch in their natural habitat dolphins (common, bottlenose and striped) flying fish and sunfish etc. You will also have approximately 3 hours of free time to shop and have lunch.
Visit option – The Rock Tour includes a guide/driver during the tour you will stop at Europa Point from which on a clear day you will be able to view the whole Strait of Gibraltar and over to the Northern Coast of Africa, you also have entrance to Saint Michael´s Caves and the possibility to have a close look at the famous Barbary Apes for which Gibraltar is famous for. The tour takes one hour and 30 minutes after which you will have approximately 3 hours of free time to shop and have lunch. Your guide will advise you on the time and where to meet your guide for the tour onboard a minibus,
It is only possible to do either the Dolphin option or the Rock Tour option. It is not possible to combine both. A good excuse to visit Gibraltar twice!
If you do not have a UK passport or EU Identity card, please ensure you have the relevant visa to visit Gibraltar before booking. This information will be needed to book your trip and please remember to take all documentation with you on your day of the excursion for crossing over the border.
